Not sure what photos you are looking at but he's not looking "soft" in the midsection at all.

With a few days before the fight he will cut a little more weight. He's exactly where he needs to be.

Danny does look soft in the belly, but it doesn't matter. Rios is a soft touch at welter. This is a mismatch, IMO.
