Comments Thread For: Ryan Burnett-Yonfrez Parejo Added to Joshua-Parker Undercard

Ryan Burnett will defend his WBA "super" bantamweight championship against Yonfrez Parejo on the Anthony Joshua-Joseph Parker undercard March 31 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Northern Ireland's Burnett initially thought he would make a mandatory defense of the IBF bantamweight title against Emmanuel Rodriguez in his next fight. The IBF ordered a bout between Rodriguez and Lee Haskins for its interim bantamweight championship, but later scheduled a purse bid for Burnett-Rodriguez and Burnett decided to vacate his IBF title.

Burnett is a b*tch. Ducked Tete, now blatantly ducks Rodriguez. Used to be a fan of this kid but he’s just another matchroom b*tch now.

Burnett should be able to outbox Parejo, but I'm disappointed he dropped one of his belts right after unifying.

I heard WBSS is rumoured at 118... so eventually Burnett might get a chance to win the belt back, as well as the other two.

Rodriguez's camp says hes fighting Paul Butler on the Amir Khan card for the vacant.

I'm going to hold off judgement on Burnett vacating til after this fight. If he doesn't seek to unify with Rodriguez after then its a duck. Not really a reason to with Rodriguez having UK exposure against Butler

The WBSS is the only way to end this constant bull*****

Eddie Hearn is getting on my nerves with his World Champions lately. First Yafai ducking Inoue and now Burnett dropping the IBF.
