    Five division world champion Floyd Mayweather was present when Hublot announced his new watch line, and the sales from those watches will help the World Boxing Council's fund to assist boxers in need. According to the president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, the fund is a benefit for fighters in all weight classes who are going through serious economic problems or living in difficult times due to accidents in the ring.

        I hope this is legit. I felt sick to my stomach when I heard that Wilfred Benitez lived off of a $200 a month pension from the WBC

            what? lol the wbc actually has a pension for boxers. how does that work, if u won a title regional or world, you get a pension? Hard to believe that.

                it's likely similar to the pensions in other sports leagues. I'm not a member of the WBC, so I don't know.

                  The WBC has given millions to old fighters over the years. They're by far the most generous of the organizations when it comes to helping with medical bills, fighters in need, etc, which is one of the reasons they're held in the highest esteem by fighters.
