In his prime and after he had been knocked out by Tarver. If he was actually standoffish, I hope this was only done because of the shame he experienced at the hands of Tarver. When you do so well for so long then knocked out in 2 - in highlight fashion - hater fans get satisfaction, becoming hostile condiscending & rude in public.

They remember all the times you bragged & talked smack - now its their time to let their pent up jealousy & frustrations out on you - wherever it may be. Nobody, not even Roy Jones can take public humiliation with open arms while signing autographs.......fans can be brutal.....I think Roy is a cool dude otherwise.
