On Thursday night, former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr ended his professional boxing career with a unanimous points-decision victory over Scott Sigmon and left with a parting shot at disgraced UFC star Anderson Silva. This guy used to be an arrogant pricked who wouldn't even sign autographs. How times have changed and he has to fight at 75 years old to pay bills.

In his prime and after he had been knocked out by Tarver. If you can find the Dawson-Mendoza fight see how Jones treated fans, sat in a codoned area and barred fans from coming near while the likes of Trinidad were posing with fans signing autographs even 2 hour after the fight. He was never a nice person this guy.

If he was actually standoffish, I hope this was only done because of the shame he experienced at the hands of Tarver. When you do so well for so long then knocked out in 2 - in highlight fashion - hater fans get satisfaction, becoming hostile condiscending & rude in public.

They remember all the times you bragged & talked smack - now its their time to let their pent up jealousy & frustrations out on you - wherever it may be. Nobody, not even Roy Jones can take public humiliation with open arms while signing autographs.......fans can be brutal.....I think Roy is a cool dude otherwise.

Roy was never fan friendly but arrogant throughout when he was still good. Fans always tried to reach out, it's sad people are trying to rewrite history. Truth is this guy is an a.s.s.h.o.l e
