Comments Thread For: Wilder: Once I Unify, Line Up Mandatories - I'll Get To 50-0 Easy!

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) has no doubt in his mind that he will reach a perfect record of 50-0 - matching the undefeated streak of former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather, 40-years-old, retired in August 2017, after winning his 50th fight with a twelve round unanimous decision over Conor McGregor.

Windmill needs to get that number "50" in all contexts out of his mind.

Wilder gonna find out what the deal is when they cart him out of the ring against Joshua.

We will see what dance he does when Joshua lands. Ortiz's overrated so unless he gets a lucky shot I don't expect Wilder to have any problems.

When I unify = When AJ has to vacate a belt and he gets a shot at the vacant one vs Malik Scott.

Gotta beat the juicing pensioner first D

The usual suspects sounding like BROKEN RECORDS as always when Wilder is being discussed.

Say what you want to say but YOU have never bet against him!!

If you have then tough luck!!!

You may hate but you are not dumb.

                The man is legit.

Deontay is already in the history books

The 'Bronze-Bomber' currently stands above : George Foreman, Evander Holyfield, Chris Byrd, Jess Willard, James J. Corbett, John L. Sullivan, and Jack Dempsey for most consecutive title defenses ( 6 ) for a HW champion.

Deontay is currently tied with Rocky Marciano in title defense ( 6 ) so thats another Legend Deontay is set to surpass in a few weeks. I'm happy to say that after Wilder transcends that hater Mike Tyson -- who has 9 title consecutive title defenses, we have to break the present GOAT Muhammad Ali's record of ten consecutive title defense.

By the time Deontay reaches 50-0 : Vitali Klitschko, Joe Frazier, and Lennox Lewis will also fall behind Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder.

Deontay is on the verge of greatness, like it or not -- what a JOY it is to be in the 'Bronze-Era'. I'm so sad for a lot of you that are missing out on what this man is doing.

                  #40-0 baby! BOMBSQUAD!!!

Alot of the men you mentioned held the unified title, not a fragment. Let him unify, then match their numbers, and then talk greatness. Context is a real thing.
