Comments Thread For: WBC Prez Seriously Doubts Andre Ward Will Attempt Return

Last week, former unified super middleweight and light heavyweight champion Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) sent the internet on fire when he posted a few messages to Twitter. The first tweet, was Ward discussing that he's bulked up - "Weighed in last night at 199 lbs. All muscle I promise!! I been working," Ward stated.

ward may not come back but if does decide to return,he can fight the wbss cruiserweight winner,lol@adonis "has a long career ahead of him" he's one or two fights away from getting his ass kicked into retirement either by jack, gvozdyk or even alvarez ,he only has a career in beating up bums but the minute he steps up consistently facing tough opposition, I doubt he can last 2-3 more years as a world title holder in this game

Stevenson can move and ****. Real reason we never saw him vs Kovalev. He would have reduced that guy to a bum. Him vs Ward would have been an intriguing fight.

One more time S.O.G.! Dare to become great! Go to the UK and fight Anthony Joshua like Virgil said! Do what no one has done since Roy Jones Jr.! In fact, have Roy Jones Jr. walk you out!!! Let's Go!

if ward was a roy jones jr, american boxing would have never needed adrien broner

but ward was such a bore and pre-madonna that adrien broner got called Lil Bro, and was made the next floyd mayweather...

ward isnt a floyd or a roy..doesnt have a chavez or toney type of performance...boxing didnt shift to his klitschko like style

                I think he's more post-madonna myself.

resume talk in boxing is so overrated..ppl that are least likely to knock you tf out get fights

froch had to fight ward in a tournament : he fought him
froch had to fight adonis as mandatory: he avoided him

kovalev was adonis's mandatory: kovalev avoided him
                  kovalev gave ward 2 shots

until everyone is fight every we wont ever know who the best is: matter of fact if everyone fights everyone there will likely never be a best...we'll see that styles make fights and that triangle theories dont exist

btw stevenson called out ward in 2013 and when ward came to 175...ward was a no show each time..

this is why i credit badou jack much more than i do an andre ward..jack is way better to watch and fights stellar competition..unlike ward he fougth for lineage at 168 and 175

i've seen adonis doubted here time and time again...in negotiations, in fights, you name ppl have doubted him

at some point u have to start asking why ppl doubts are failing...

if the dude even beats one of those names u listed at 40 understand he wont get the least bit of credit for it..meanwhile most men aint even able to fight at 40
