I think that contributes to most of the reasons. The "reasons" used are more excuses as a cover up for the real reason which is blatantly based on ethnicity.
Notice how nobody of color is giving him praise?

I hate to be the one to say it.

Have you noticed Lomachenko speaks better English than Linares? I think he is more talented than JL physically and mentally. Any thoughts?

I don't think it'll happen next because the money won't work but could happen after.

Lomachenko probably fights Beltran first. Then a unification with either Linares/Mikey in the fall.

          Loma raising the bar higher.

          Bring it on!

          Should be a good fight.

I don't think that's accurate. I have been at his fights with plenty of folks of color who've rooted for him and sang his praises. But, I do believe that a lot of irrational hatred, reluctance to praise him, dismissive attitude and crazy standards are from the type who don't like their fighters to be white or from that part of the world. It's clear to see that here and on social media where you can see the individuals faces.

I wish it were that a lot of folks just don't like his style or whatever but for the majority you'd have to be ignorant to suggest that's the case. It's a white/eastern euro thing and that's just a fact.

Very good post. I understand that boxing is usually ran (top guys) by black or Hispanic fighters, but when they see a guy like Loma dominate multiple weight classes, beating fighters of other races, it's not the norm.

I get it, and understand (I'm mixed race myself) but I'm just calling it.

Well that can go the other way too if you're going to be a racist about things. Maybe whit(ish) people like him because they just want to root for someone that looks more like them? Sounds horrible right?

Hate to be the one to say it but that's how some people of less color think.

I'd rather see Loma v Berchelt, Mikey Garcia or Gervonta Davis. But Linares is a good fight.
