Solid fight. Gesta took some damn good shots. Linares was simply on another level.

Linares vs Loma or Garcia next please. IF either doesn't work out then Robert Easter.

Linares deserves a big money fight. It's time

As for Gesta. Hopefully Golden Boy gets him on ESPN again and give him more oppurtunities.

      Good first fight.

Gesta was outclassed by miles , JL knew after the 2 ND Rd and coasted 12 rds . Never in trouble throughout the fight with gesta !! Easy fights for Jorge

i wasnt impressed at all by Linares, he barely did anything against a B-level fighter. Yes, he outlanded him but he should have been dominating Gesta or stopping him, not merely landing a few big punches per round. His defense wasnt all that great either. He will definitely lose against Garcia (and badly) or Lomachenko. He is not a P4P fighter, pretty good but not elite level.
