Comments Thread For: Lee Selby vs. Josh Warrington Finalized For May 19

Frank Warren is delighted to confirm that contracts have been signed for the IBF World Featherweight Championship between World Champion Lee Selby and the IBF Mandatory Challenger Josh Warrington. The fight will be shown live and exclusive on BT Sport and BoxNation on Saturday May 19. Leeds hero Warrington (26-0, 6 KO's) brought the blockbuster all-British showdown closer to reality by stopping previously unbeaten Dane Dennis Ceylan in a Final Eliminator clash at the First Direct Arena back in October.

Its difficult for me to get excited for either guys style but it is a fight between two world level fighters so I'm gladi t was made. Hopefully Selby wins, stays active and fights and unifies this year.

I like this fight a lot, pretty even, neither guy has much power. I lean Selby by close decision, crowd should be pretty raucous for this one

Your right what you say about neither of them having much power but, do you remember selbys one punch KO of Stephen Smith? Where did that come from? Anyway, decent fight that Selby will win on points.
