Bud will pick up the WBO in easy fashion as mentioned but don't expect him to fight anybody good once he does. He won't fight Spence, Thurman, Porter, or Garcia. He'll defend it against whatever journeyman Top Rank can dig up.
Why doesn't Terence Crawford try to get into the IBF rankings?

I thought that was for the interim and then Bradley Pac was for the vacant full title?Correction it was Bradley and Vargas( both Arum guys at the time) which is even worse. Then when Bradley gave it up to fight Pac for a third time Vargas( still an Arum guy) got another crack at it despite losing.
Edit
But when it comes too Bud when your the WBO champ in another weight class per there rules you automatically become Mando in the next division you fight in Andrade tried this but then back out.
I could be getting mixed up.Comment

Yes he does. Arum has controlled the WBO welterweight title for over 15 years, with no end in sight.
Arum will not let Crawford anywhere near the other welterweight titles, nor will he let him anywhere near Haymon's top fighters.
Not because Crawford isn't capable of beating some of them, but because Arum isn't going to change the philosophies that have led to his longevity to begin with. He has ESPN all to himself. He can get the WBO to do whatever he wants. Why in the world would he want to risk having Crawford lose to a Thurman or a Spence and then be completely frozen out of welterweight for years to come?
Arum has his niche, he's going to protect his niche. There's no sense in taking unnecessary risk.Comment

Arum has horn, horny has the WBO previously held by Bradley and Pac, both who were under Arum. It just seems logical to take that belt off Horny and then see how to negotiate a unification...I wouldn't hold my breath doe for a spence/crawford unification with Arum around.Comment

^^^ This right here. The fact that Bradley never fought anyone at 147 (Outside of Top rank) whilst he was the champ doesn't make me feel like Crawford would too.Yes he does. Arum has controlled the WBO welterweight title for over 15 years, with no end in sight.

That's a good question.
Does the IBF give champions from a lower division an immediate shot at a belt in a higher division like the WBO does?Comment

why is Jose Ramirez fighting for the WBC super lightweight title that Crawford had in March? Why is Gvozdyk fighting a WBC final 175 lb eliminator if Arum only deals with WBO. Doesn't Ryota Murata have the WBA middleweight title too?Comment
