It was an old school beating. Peterson had heart and wanted to keep going but his trainer wisely saved him. Spence should aim for the Crawford/Horn winner because Thurman ain’t trying to take any hard fights off the injury.

He was non-stop throwing punches and looked as fresh as the opening bell. Amazing stamina.

Compubox is totally useless for landed punches BTW.

Totally agree! I don't know if ESPN and Showtime can make this deal of exchanging fighters, but I do hope so! Spence/Crawford and Garcia/Lomachenko need to happen in 2018! The only fights bigger than those is GGG vs. Canelo II, and Wilder vs. Joshua! If all 4 fights happen tis year, 2018 can be one of the best ever!

Easy to land when your opponent stands right in front of you and doesn't throw much in return. Good win for Spence, but hopefully he fights twice more like he says in 2018 and it will be agaisnt a live dog.

??? Vargas isnt chop liver. He's a legit top 8 WW in a VERY stacked division. And a lot of ppl have him ranked higher than peterson. I rank him higher also.
