Comments Thread For: O'Sullivan Hopes For Jacobs, Confident He'll KO Eubank in Rematch

Middleweight contender Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan (27-2, 19 KOs) is still hoping that a deal is finalized to fight former champion Daniel Jacobs in April at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. O'Sullivan, who won his last five bouts and four of them by knockout, wants to secure a major payday in his next fight.

The problem with Spike KOing either guy is that he would need to eat 10 punches to land one.

    Therein lies the problem.

Jacobs would be ******ed to fight Spike instead of Lee and Spike would be ******ed to give up his 15 minutes so quickly. There's plenty of realistic fights for O'Sullivan.

Eubank put on the 168 body armour son. Sullivan will get wrecked even worse..

misplaced confidence or just false bluster. either way weve seen what happened when spike fought saunders and eubank. Hes not in that top bracket of fighters.

He’s lucky they threw in the towel in the 7th. Was not looking good for him. I’m surprised he’s still fighting.

O'Sullivan vs Tommy Langford, Rosado, N'Dam or Jack Arnfield. Spike could take the place of Avtandil Khurtsidze while he's in prison.

Will always root for the blue collar type fighters. The ones who are always underdogs and can seldom get a money fight.
                  Hope this fight comes off.
will root for Sullivan even though I believe Jacobs has enough to best him.

Eubank dominated Spike. Not a chance in hell he'd beat or stop him in a rematch.
