A bit premature, still undefeated and has never looked bad in a fight, could've made more money than what he has already, but I respect the decision.

Undefeated British, Commonwealth & European champ on the brink of world level retires before the age of 30? He'd done the hard part & now was the time to cash in, from an outsiders perspective anyway. It sounds to me like his body is no longer up to it, or somebody was in his ear to make this decision.

Either way good luck to the man

Used to watch him back in the day on local cards and always kept an eye out for him.

Good luck to him in retirement.

There's a lot of next level speed fighters in flyweight and world level requires super speed as a minimum to go with any added ability a boxer may have. The Brits rarely produce speedsters across the weights and you need it in abundance down at those weights. Maybe he sparred some world level guys and realised his level.
