Comments Thread For: Yordenis Ugas vs. Ray Robinson Eliminator on February 10

Yordenis Ugas is going to be in good company with countryman Rances Barthelemy. The Cuban welterweight contender was added to the February 10th card to fight for something very important for his career: a position close to the top in the International Boxing Federation (IBF) rankings.

I hate it when two hard luck guys have to face each other as they are climbing the hard ladder up. You can root for either guy, they are the kind of guys you want to see have some luck go their way.

Beautiful match, and i'm glad to see both fighters with a chance to move on to something bigger. So who is going to be the IBF #1 contender @ 147?

I love it when 2 hard luck guys face each other, because we get a better fight! I wish Lubin would face DeLoach, just to see who will redeem themselves after being KO'd!

I believe the winner will become the number 2 contender for the BIG 147lb belt. Number 1 may still be vacant.

Good fight, but its absolutely ******ed Ugas or Robinson will be the #2 ranked guy by the IBF. I'm not sure I'd put either guy in the top 20 at 147....even after we find out who wins this fight. ABC groups got such sh^tty rules.

Kind of crazy, isn't it? Deciding who's #2, before they decide who will fight for #1?
