Comments Thread For: Broner: I'll Be 100% For Next Fight, Ready For Khan or Figueroa!

Former four division world champion Adrien Broner (33-3, 24 KOs) is ready for a big comeback in 2018. "The Problem" has been out of the ring since losing a twelve round unanimous decision to Mikey Garcia in July 2017 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The problem is not a problem at 147 and it looks like he's done at 140 with all the class around.

he literally says this over and over again after every loss or bad performance. He better try and cash out because his performances only continue to get worse. Since moving up to 147 and 140 he isn't the same fighter he was early his career at lower weights.

He said Figueroa or Khan, not Khan or Figueroa. Seems tiny, but a very important detail. Figueroa is most likely next.

Excuses are running thin. So if he has a tentative April date, that's four months to prepare, plenty of time.

Its the same old story with Broner.

He said this before the mikey fight:
Adrien Broner believes he’s at his best in the boxing ring when he fights at the super lightweight limit of 140 pounds. Each of his two losses – unanimous-decision defeats to Marcos Maidana and Shawn Porter – came in fights at contracted weights of 147 pounds and 144. That’s why Broner (33-2, 24 KOs) didn’t hesitate to accept a fight against unbeaten WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia at 140 pounds July 29.

                    And the porter fight:
LAS VEGAS - A highly anticipated showdown between former world champions Adrien "The Problem" Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) and "Showtime" Shawn Porter (25-1-1, 16 KOs) headlines the Premier Boxing Champions on NBC primetime event Saturday, June 20 live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Also on the card, the undefeated Errol Spence Jr. (16-0, 13 KOs) puts his record on the line against hard-hitting veteran Roberto "La Amenaza" Garcia (37-3, 23 KOs) in the biggest challenge of his young career. The PBC on NBC action begins at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT "It's time for AB on NBC and I can't wait for the opportunity," said Broner. "This is a great fight that the fans wanted and I wanted. I'm going to come prepared and I'm going to put on a show. I've never lost at MGM Grand and I don't plan on starting now. Porter is a strong guy but he's never been in the ring with someone like me."

And the maidana fight (coming off an underwhelming performance against paulie):
WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner (27-0, 22KOs) says his performance against Marcos Maidana (34-3, 31KOs) will be far different than his welterweight debut from this past June, when he fought to a twelve round split decision win over Paulie Malignaggi at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight with Maidana will take place on December 14th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
