Comments Thread For: Robert Guerrero: Mikey Garcia Outboxes Lomachenko!

The much ballyhooed December 9th showdown between Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigondeaux turned out to be a very non-competitive affair. The fight was the first in boxing history that matched two-time Olympic Gold medalists against each other.

I will say Loma's the better boxer, and Mikey is the bigger puncher! I think it will a lot like Mayweather vs. De La Hoya, except this time both guys are basically the same age! Definitely a 50/50 fight!

It's gonna be a great fight, a real treat for the real fans and even the casuals!

Both guys love to initiate the action and are precise!

We underestimated the weight jump for Rigo against Loma but Mikey is another ball park!

He's a heavy 135 with 140 like power with great fundamentals, ring IQ, great corner, solid jab, near flawless balance and good footwork and with great stamina!

Hope Mikey stays at 135 cuz there's no one at 140 that brings the money for a unification like Linares or the Loma fight!

Mikey, who I really like, will never outbox Loma Nobody will. Powerwise yes he's much stronger but Loma boxes rings around him after the 4th round. Anybody that claims "Garcia beats Loma’ azz bigtime" is a fuggin moron and doesn't know anything about either guy.

Mikey can't box as good as Loma... If Mikey wins it's all size & dirty boxing... He can't outbox Loma fair & square.

The fact that he used the word "outboxes" demonstrates he wasn't being objective. Mikey has shown that he can outbox a Matrix? Really?

He is just supporting a fellow Mexican American. Loma is the better boxer in my opinion. Mikey is bigger and punches harder.

50/50 but more like Hamed/Barrera IMO.
