I really like Gassiev but I think this is a tough, tough match up for him. Dorticos' straight punches are really well educated.

Either way can't wait for this fight.

Can anyone tell me what the hell did the WBA do with Lebedev and the 'Super' title?! cause I'm lookin at boxrec and it says this is for the 'Super' Title --

I find it interesting and hilarious : so you mean to tell me...that Lebedev was 'stripped' of the WBA 'Super' cruiserweight title? that should really be in possession of Gassiev as he already defeated Lebedev, but due to manipulation too the WBA Denis managed to keep the title despite losing to Murat in 2016 --

this also leads me to wonder what was the whole point of allowing Denis to keep it and latter defend it to only give the rightful owner ( Gassiev ) another chance to win what should be his....but hey I guess if Gassiev wins this whole tournament he can technically say I 'unified' twice against Dorticos and the winner of Usyk and that cop haha!

      Boxing.

I like Gassiev to win this one. It won't be a walk in the park by any means. Dorticos can crack! He's still fairly a young champion with lots of learning to do. Let's see if Gassiev is championship material. He barely inched by when he fought Levedev. Lots of people saw him lose that one. Dudes got an IRON HEAD for sure,,,

dorticos has the power and boxing skills but gassiev is very strong and has insane body shots..I favor the one with the home advantage although dorticos has the power to cause damage

True, he struggled with Lebedev but I saw it as a growing experience. I get the sense he's a better fighter now. Tough to call but I think Gassiev will be smart, controlled, and find the opportunities to take the W.

Dorticos will knockout Gassiev late in the fight.

I saw that match and i remember Gassiev dropped Lebedev with a body shot in early rounds, but Lebedev, who's one of the toughest 'bastards' ever, recovered pretty fast and finished the match in crescendo, leaving me with a strange sensation of uncertainty about who had really won the fight. I mean, that could have been either of the two. Now Gassiev has the chance to demonstrate he deserved that victory (which came through SD) and he's now ready to rule the division. I see him strongly favourite against Dorticos, not sure against the other top dog Usyk, which I give as easy winner with Latvian fellow Briedis in the other semifinal. I have not yet decided myself who I like the most, between these 2 guys (Gassiev or Usyk)...

Same, I like both Gassiev and Usyk. Would love to see those two in the final and I think the tourney was set-up for that to happen.
