Comments Thread For: Robert Guerrero: It's Dangerous if Danny Garcia Trades With Rios

Former multi-division champion Robert Guerrero will be a very interested observer of two upcoming Showtime Championship Boxing cards. On February 17th, Danny Garcia (33-1) will return to the ring after an 11 month hiatus and face former champion Brandon Rios at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

        Garcia won't trade.
This is his comeback fight and needs every round he can get before moving to bigger things. I expect him to just outbox him 12 rounds.

Yo Robert you should have never standed there and exchanged with Kamegai for 12 rounds, you were never the same since. You should have moved down to 140 directly after Mayweather fight and campaigned to get another title at Jr WW. If you would have went back to your boxing Style and went down a division your career would have lasted longer

Danny will be clinching all night in this fight.
Swift saw how successful Abril was beating Rios.
Rios needs to prepare doing something illegal himself.
Fans love seeing eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth retaliation.
This fight might end up like Rios vs Chaves 2.

Is it boxing or fighting? You don’t play into Rios only strength you box the cement foot slow no d fighter land combos angles a little movement make him reset all night easy $$!

Good scrap and decent comeback fight for Danny- but after a few rounds Danny will adjust his left hook then go to Bam Bam's body with hurtful intent.....
I see Danny beating up Rios and stopping him in like 10-11 rounds latest.....Rios's ring battles and weight/discipline issues between fights make far him past prime imo.
-Garcia will win decisively regardless but how long the fight will last depend on Rios's training/conditioning/dedication at this point in his career

Garcia wouldn't dare trading with Bam Bam.

Rios needs to attack his body early and often so he has a stationary target in the late rounds.

Garcia's year lay off is going to affect him greatly in this fight.
