As BoxingScene.com reported earlier this week, World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman has indicated that an order was issued for a mandatory fight between WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia (37-0, 30 KOs) and Jorge Linares (43-3, 27 KOs). Last year at their annual convention, the WBC ordered the two of them to fight each other - and Sulaiman says his organization will not allow any further postponements for either boxer.

Lets be serious he wants no part of Lomachenko. Notice how hes saying he wants to fight Linares before he moves up which to me sounds like that will be his last fight at 135. I think Easter would be a tougher fight for him at 135 and they are both with haymon so it would be easy to make but Mikey doesnt like real challenges

I can hear the excuses already "Loma is at 135 abd im at 140, its too hard to make 135" theres a video on esnews of an interview he gave after the Lipinets press conference where he said he feels more natural and comfortable at 135 so he shouldnt give any bs excuse whatsoever when Loma comes up to 135 and calls him out again. Loma said he would like to fight Mikey next and Mikey said he would want that fight but right away started making excuses of why he doesnt think the fight would get made. I hope so but ill believe it when Mikey signs contract at 35.And after a tough 4-6 rounds that would be close to even Mikey starts to pull away and gets late tko or UD.But like I said ill wait for Mikey to sign contract to get worked up.
