Comments Thread For: Quigg: I Know Oscar Valdez's Weaknesses From Past Sparring

Scott Quigg (34-1-2, 25 KOs) believes his past sparring sessions with WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez (23-0, 19 KOs) will play a key role in a potential showdown on StubHub Center in California on March 10. Quigg and Valdez previously sparred with each other last year when the British boxer was preparing to fight Viorel Simion.

The key role will be whether or not its physically possible for quiggy to lose any more IQ points after he gets splattered from a left hook from hell via valdez.

Instant Fight of the year contender! Both comes to fight and are very tough!

Picking Quigg to get a late TKO stoppage after being hurt and dropped early rounds, his right hand is key!

I'm picking Valdez but not confident because he is there to be hit so it could go either way.

Valdez goes back with hands down always gets caught by hooks. He's easy to counter if you're a counter puncher he loads up with every shot never sets nothing up with jabs or body movement. Someone like Rigo would beat him quite easy
