    Former World Boxing Council (WBC) cruiserweight world champion Grigory Drozd of Russia had decided to complete his professional boxing career. Drozd had his last fight in May 2015, after which, due to countless injuries, he was unable to conduct a mandatory defense against Congolese slugger Ilungi Makabu.

      A strong guy but he had very limited Talent .. WBC really kept this guy hidden and never offered him Elite Fighters after he got the belt...

          Wish Drozd had been able to stay healthy for a few more years to take on the guys that have risen up in the CW division now. Drozd was the best 200 lber in the world for a short while after those wins against Masternak and Wlodarczyk. Too bad, best of luck in retirement

            I always wondered if he was going to come back, seems happy with his career though.. That fight with Makubu would've been awesome.

                    Yes, but he significantly improved. His perfomance against Wlodarczyk was brilliant. And he is the only one who was able to stop Masternak.
