Comments Thread For: Hearn: If Parker Beats Joshua - He Makes a Fortune in Rematch

Eddie Hearn, promoter of IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), hopes to cut away any loose strings and finalize a deal in the coming days for a unification showdown with WBO king Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs).

A.j-parker will be just like A.j-whyte..parker's gonna take some shellacking big time..he will be fighting on his backfoot occasionally trying to land shots or catch A.j..he will show heart but at the end of the day..his chin is going to give out from repeated power punches much like with dillian whyte

After watching Parker against Ruiz, I believe Parker will try to outbox AJ rather than go for knock out.

Even fight that goes 12 rounds or the ref freaks out and prematurely stops it in the 10th to preserve the Joshua brand KO record. Got a feeling that's what will happen Parker to take AJ's shots then comes on strong only to be robbed of an opportunity in the last rounds with AJ tired.

Considering Hearn admitted he overpaid and bought the title, even if Joe wins, he will only get that fortune over Hearn's cold... option plan. B side with strings attached.

Unlike whyte, Parker is a half decent boxer. Parker will be a much more formidable opponent than that over hyped podgy domestic level Whyte.

Whyte is slow and sloppy and he managed to rock Joshua. Parker will be at his best for this, very tough fight but he has the skill and enough power to win if he manages to catch him good.

Not sure where all this confidence in Parker comes from, I’ve watched all his major fights and haven’t seen him look good once. Whyte and Parker is actually a great match up imho and you could argue that Helenius and Chisora are as good as anyone Parker has fought and of course we know he went rounds with AJ, we don’t know if Parker can yet.

It's an interesting style match up. Parker likes to come forward and Joshua won't enjoy that, but it means Parker is going to take punishment.

Joshua by wide decision, or Parker gets pulled out by his corner.

AJ will box more IMO. He has stated he got emotional in a fight which he has learned from. I believe he will not try and win by spectacular fashion but by boxing.
I know pre Takam he kept saying he wanted to put on a show, but unfortunately you need to just do your job.
