Comments Thread For: Naoya Inoue Embraces 118 Move, Will Be in Line For Zolani Tete

"The opponents are interesting" is how WBO super flyweight boss Naoya Inoue described the current options at the 118lb bantamweight division. The comments were made after another dominant Inoue performance, this time soundly defeating Yoann Boyeaux by 3rd round TKO.

There are HUGE fights for him at Super Flyweight with HBO. When the fights
have presented themselves, now all of a sudden he wants to move up?

Everyone will let this slide, but this is a ****ing DUCK. His division is STACKED right now. There are better quality fighters as well as bigger names at his division then Tete and Burnett.

This is a duck, but like I said before everyone will just let it slide and sweep it under the rug because they like him. Biased boxing "fans."

it really is a joke. also inoue ducked the flyweight division when it was hot. so this isnt the first time we have seen inoue's cowardice.

and the translation is wrong. inoue didn't say: "The opponents are interesting" at 118 he actually said "The opponents are EASIER" HAHAHAHAHa what a joke!!!

But since these people love him for his knockouts, they are blinded by it. They say he's the best but he's running from the top competition. This is what RUNNING actually is. Not what Ward and Mayweather did, they fought the best.

If you are going to be a critic, hold everybody to the same standard. Not just the fighters you dislike. Don't be a biased moron, be objective and call it how you see it at ALL times.

I’m glad people finally calling Inoue out for fighting bums when Rungvisai, chocolito, Estrada , and cuedras killed each other in 2 superfly cards. He gets a pass why?so promoters can tap Asian ppv and promote in Asia

Lol stick to 115. That division is stacked. Him vs Estrada would be fun to watch.

Tete is a very risky fight.

Thats pretty weird, ALL the huge fights are there and HBO is putting them all on a platform, why the **** would you move up and fight (arguably) a much more dangerous fight in Tete for less money? makes no sense unless they are willing to move back down if, say Estrada unifies the division or something...

Tete would be a good fight. I want to finally see Inoue against a young, tough opponent who poses a threat.
