Jon Fernandez is another good prospect. 2018 will be his year!

Taylor's a great prospect and is certified contender after after the Vasquez beat down.

I think as long as he gets a shot he’ll win a world title this year, I’m just unsure whether Cyclone have the money or influence to make it happen, I really rate Taylor, if he fights for a title I’ll certainly travel up to Scotland again to watch him
If thats your opinion then fair enough man.

I agree. Hopefully he gets the title shot. By the end of 2018 he might be talked about as a future P4P fighter.

Just because he's won prospect of the year it doesn't mean he's still being labelled a prospect. It's nearly 2018, Taylor was the best prospect of 2017 by hitting contender level by the end of they year. Now he's going into 2018 a contender for world honours.

I'm hoping to see TTT win a world title by the end of 2018. I think he'll do it.

I get what your saying bro, but that’s not how I would define the prospect of the year. For me it should be a guy who is actually a prospect, who you expect to go on to become a contender, champion etc not a guy is already proven to be well above prospect level.
It’d be like awarding Floyd prospect of the year in 98, he was a prospect for the majority of that year but proved by the end of it he was way above that prospect status

MV 44 fights never been stopped, that would be a good one for you to watch before the silly comments

He was voted the prospect of 2017 because he went from prospect to contender by the end of the year. He deserves it for actually achieving that. If he was considered a contender from the start of the year I could see your point. The fact is he was considered a prospect through most of 2017. He was actually on a lot of lists of best prospects put up through the year. Even after the Davies fight he was still seen as a prospect because lots don't rate Davies. The Vasquez win is the one that put him up to contender level as it made people take notice. That win over Vasquez actually made him the best prospect out of all the prospects of 2017 because none of the rest of them had a win that good.

Would you rather the best prospect of 2017 was a fighter who feasted on bums all year rather as the one that achieved a win that put him up to contender level ? Doesn't make sense.

    Ya get me ?

You’ve just said it yourself he’s a contender. Branding him a prospect is ignorant to what he’s accomplished this year.
