Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: After March Tuneup - I'd Love Keith Thurman Fight!

Former world champion Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) has mapped out his plans for 2018. The Bolton boxer has been out of the ring since moving up to a catch-weight of 155-pounds and suffering a brutal knockout loss at the hands of then WBC middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Their bout headlined the first ever boxing event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Khan targeting a man he knows will not be available for a long time to come. Meanwhile he will be fighting tune up after tune up. Why doesn't he mention Erroll Spence?

Khan-Thurman Khan-Brook and Khan-Broner are all good fights. But Brook moved up so.

I respect Khan a lot, he's been iced so many times and still wants to fight these big punchers.

Two fighters that need to pause and seriously think about their careers is (a) broner and (b) khan.

They should not be fighting the best at the moment IMO, they need a couple of rebuilding fights before they consider trying to get belts again.

I'd love for Thurman to knock Khan out cold and end his career.

I am annoyed at the paydays Khan gets. Hoping nobody gives his reality tv wannabe ass anything

Everybody calling Thurman out, nothing new. Don't think Khan is serious anyways, dude should just be ignored from now on. Although wouldn't be a bad tune up for Keith.

Khan is way past that point. He is guaranteed to develop CTE if he doesn't already have it and he's likely to end up like Freddy Roach after the damage he's taken against

Prescott, Canelo, Maidana, and essentially every fighter Danny literally broke him

Actually khan would be a good tune up for Thurman. Then Thurman can focus on the elite in his division after getting his confidence up with a ko win.
