Comments Thread For: Rey Vargas: I Want To Unify, To Hold All Four World Titles

A few days ago, super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas was presented in the auditorium of the Union of Railway Workers of the Mexican Republic as part of the traditional "Martes de Caf" where he talked about his latest victory and what's coming next in his career. Vargas, who is unbeaten as a professional, defended successfully his super bantamweight title of the World Boxing Council, defeating the also unbeaten Colombian Oscar "Jaguar" Negrete at Madison Square Garden's Theater in New York on the night of November 25.

Ryosuke Iwasa is probably the only realistic unification in the division

I agree with the previous post that iwasa is the only real challenge to Rey but his problem is is his eyes ...coming from punches or headbutts ..his power has left him now that he has stepped up in class and he's not fighting taxi cab drivers anymore like he did in the early days in Mexico , but he still fun to watch..
If he fights Ceja it will be a relatively easy fight for him, a technical fight ..keeping him moving as he turns him during the 12 rounds...

If he had real power, his style would be more effective. He looks desperate getting away sometimes.
