Comments Thread For: Hearn: Tyson Fury Asked For 60-40 Split, in His Favor, For Joshua

Promoter Eddie Hearn is still hoping to sign Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) to Matchroom Sport. Hearn wants to rebuild Fury's career on route to a showdown with IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs). "The only way Fury is going to get the Joshua fight is with us," said Hearn to The Independent. "So I've been talking to Fury about a plan which would lead to the Joshua fight."

Tyson Fury is ducking Anthony Joshua. Fat-boy is going back to fighting bums to collect a couple paychecks before he gets exposed.

Hes also the B side to THE REAL HW champion of the world Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder.

Yeah the guy who won 1 vacant belt of a complete nobody while Fury went and took 4 off the HW champ when he ran undefeated for over a decade lol. Fury is still the HW king AJ just keeping the throne warm for Fury's return. Wilder is on the same level as Parker title holders who nobody cares about lol

If the goal is to get the fight at 50/50, you can't ask for 50/50 right off the bat. You have to ask for 60/40.

Whether Hearn would agree to 50/50 is another matter entirely, but you can't criticize Fury for asking for too much because the opening offer is always going to be unreasonable. That's why it's an opening offer. This is how negotiating works.

Nah Wilder trash much like his resume and his 10 fans lol. Fury and AJ the top dogs who can pack stadiums then Parker cuz his country actually supports him then Wilder the least credible and apparently the least popular of the bunch. The guy isn't even a draw in his own back yard lol

Hearns said its a 50/50 fight. Its like Klitschko, doesnt need much negotiations, everyone gets to fill their pockets.

Fury will be lucky to get 40% himself. Like Eddie said, Fury has to prove himself again first. Dude's talkin like he's still the kingpin.
