  • Comments Thread For: Truax Hopes To Get Word on DeGale Rematch After Holidays

Not all that much has changed since Caleb Truax came back to Minnesota the proud owner of the IBF super middleweight title. Asked to offer what's different now, Truax told BoxingScene.com very little. "Honestly, man, there hasn't been a change in every-day life," the 34 year old who holds a 29-3-2 mark told me.

Logical next step for Chunky is the rematch

I don't know if Degale can do any better in the rematch.

Truax better get a bunch of money for Warren to get his belt back.

they better cough the money out because he doesn't have to fight him again after he won decisively the first time..and I bet there are super-middlewieights out there with better offers..but the rematch is the most interesting I will say..degale can't afford to slip up again for the sake of his career

Apparently they paid him buttons for the last fight.

Hopefully he gets paid well here. Because he could near enough wait out the winner of tournament himself.

I like Truax too. He was apparently drinking pints of London Pride after his win. I wouldn't mind if he beat James again tbh.

Seems like a good egg. Man of the people type. Never usually get that vibe from most American fighters

I'm from MN and have seen Truax fight since ams days.Im very happy he is gonna make some money now.But I gotta say I was rooting for Degale because Truax is NOT world class and thought fight was close and was real surprised he got dec.But there will be a mad rush to get at him and his title. And I'm sure he will get overpaid(if no rematch clause which ive heard different storys)kinda like Charles Martin people will be tripping over themselves to get him and an easy belt.Im glad for him but that's the 1st and last top fighter he beats.Hope he makes best of it AND IM NOT PUTTING HIM DOWN its just he is NOT top 10 type fighter. But he is top 20 in his profession and that's a lot more then most people can say.

I think he will be overpaid if no rematch clause. They will be bidding with eachother to get that belt.

Probably but he deserves it for winning a title.

If I was him I'd try and fight Rocky Fielding or something and then Degale again. He could base himself here really.
