Comments Thread For: Frampton vs. Donaire on April 7 in Belfast, Selby-Warrington Done

Frank Warren is determined to build on a stellar 2017 by pushing on even further in the New Year. The Hall of Fame promoter was speaking to the media on Thursday at a homecoming press conference for Billy Joe Saunders. Saunders, 28, retained his WBO middleweight world title against David Lemieux last weekend at the Place Bell in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, producing a masterclass to outpoint the Canadian in his own back yard, exclusively live on BT Sport in the UK and on HBO in the States.

If Donaire doesn't pick up his foot movement, he's finished.

Ok frank. Starting to make a few moves here that’s only good news for British boxing.

This would have been an amazing fight a couple of years ago. Might still be good depending on what Donaire has left. Selby-Warrington will be a big draw but I'm pretty confident that it'll be fairly easy for Selby.

Donaire doesn't do goo with movers. Unless he lands a blistering left hook I got to pick Frampton to win this one

Selby/Warrington is a good toss up fight. Love Donaire, but he's got no shot at this age and this weight against Frampton

This is my 3rd time saying this today, who wants to see this fight?

Donaire has been a shot fighter since he fought Rigondeaux 4 years ago.

Donaire has been a shot fighter since he fought Rigondeaux 4 years ago.
He was arguably slipping before that, according to some people. He's also 35 which is old for a fighter around those weights, generally speaking.

That said, Frampton wasn't that great in his last fight, although he was out of the ring for a while but maybe he's slipping too.

If Frampton from the first Santa Cruz fight turns up, he beats Donaire easily but Frampton from the last fight could make it an interesting one.
