  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder-Luis Ortiz in Works for March 3 at Barclays Center

Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz apparently meant what they said when they went face-to-face earlier this month. BoxingScene.com has learned that representatives for Wilder and Ortiz are negotiating for them to fight March 3 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. That deal isn't finalized, but Wilder wants to fight Ortiz next, even after their November 4 bout was canceled due to Ortiz's failure to adhere to the WBC's "Clean Boxing Program."

Damn Beyonce would rather make $1 mil to fight a known steroid-user just because he's a C-level fighter than go to the UK and fight Dillian for $3 mil

Do you deny that age and inactivity, among others, are real factors in athletic competition? If Ortiz was Wilder’s age and was getting in some work, I’d favor him in this match-up. As it is, Deontae has to get the nod.

How are Beyonce Wilder "haters" looking for more excuses? Beyonce is the one fighting a fat, steroid-using tomato can for $1 mil in front of less than 10,000 people...

Joshua will be unifying the division making $15-20 mil fighting Parker in front of 100,000.
