Punch drunk racist James Toney calls Sam Peter a "bum" yet he lost to him twice, while Vitali Klitschko made Peter quit on his stool in VK's first fight back after 3 1/2 years out from injury. Wlad also beat Peter twice, the second time by stoppage.

Peter was being sold as the new HW superstar back in those days. But since the K-Bros destroyed him, Toney has to call him a bum.

If Peter was a bum, what does that make Toney, who insists he was always a heavyweight?

Toney would rather try to make up any convoluted story than give the two white boys their due.

Same thing that happened in May-Pac. When you watch fights live, the fighter that uses head movement to dodge punches always looks better than the fighter that blocks punches with his hands and arms, because the sport is too fast to see what is happening live with good accuracy. When a fighter moves his head and dodges a punch completely, there is no sound, and you can see that it missed, but when a boxer blocks a punch with his gloves, there is still the thudding sound of the punch connecting, and it can even appear like the shot landed when it didn't.

Floyd and Canelo both move their head for defense. Pacquiao and GGG are both really good at blocking with their hands. Therefore, the illusion made Floyd and Canelo's performances look better than they were.

this is why inaccurate stats that seemingly always favor the a-side are bad for boxing. it gives fanboys something to cling on to when there isnt really anything there. canelo only landed a couple clean punches a round really. his accuracy was high cause he was scared to throw anything unless it was the perfect time. meanwhile he got his head jabbed off and he was hit with plenty of power punches as well. the video reviews show ggg dominating the punch stats especially in rounds 10-12. oh well you dont care. canelo threw and landed more in 10-12 cept he also got hit a lot more.

It doesn't really matter whose fault it was, all that matters is that he was drained and slow, and therefore, Floyd did not face a top fighter that night, so he does not deserve any credit for that win. He did not beat the real Canelo, period, just like he did not beat prime Pacquiao, or any other top prime undrained boxer his entire career. And that is why his resumé is an illusion, and why he's still completely unproven at the top level at 40 years old. Quantity is no substitute for quality.
