Comments Thread For: Andre Ward: Barrera Gives Anyone at 175 a Run For Their Money

Mandalay Bay, LAS VEGAS, NV - Sullivan Barrera (21-1) has bounced back nicely from his March, 2016 unanimous decision loss to Andre Ward. Since that setback, Barrera has gone 4-0- with two knockouts and will likely face WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol or WBO champion Sergey Kovalev in his next fight.

Pretty racist coming from Andre Ward, it must be his white half doing the talking. Is he serious?

"Hurr-hurr, Barrera will steal their money and run off with it and then go home to his crib and lay low for a few days and then start break-dancing hurrr durrr"

If anyone is going to run for someone's money it would be him after he took his money and then left boxing. And besides, Barrera is CUBAN!

smh just another reason to dislike Andre Ward.

dmitry bivol vs Sullivan barrera is a good matchup..the chin question is there though like andre pointed out...he's been down 5 times(+the headbutt knockdown against paul parker) in his last 5 fights including the one with Andre ward..bivol may crack it if barrera can't box his way through like he's done in his previous 4 fights..50/50 fight..bivol lacks experience but I got him winning a close decision that could go either way..especially if it's in russia

        Yeah right Andre.

Can't wait till Bud Crawford makes his debut at welterweight,, Hopefully in 2018 we can see matchups between either Thurman-Crawford, Thurman-Spence or Spence-Crawford. Welterweight, Middleweight, and HW divisions are gona be on Fire in 2018.

Ward is right. Sullivan’s a handful for pretty much anyone. Kovalev would probably take him out, but it’s no walk in the park.

Kovalev is gonna probably stop him. Barrera seems to start off fights as a ****** and then turn his brain on after he gets dropped.
