  • Comments Thread For: Spike O'Sullivan Drops, Stops Antoine Douglas in 7th Round

Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan, the supposed B' side, upset Antoine Douglas on Saturday night. O'Sullivan regularly landed right hands to the sluggish Douglas' head and eventually knocked him out in the seventh round of their scheduled 10-round middleweight fight at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, Canada. An aggressive, tough O'Sullivan consistently pressed the action and exploited Douglas' defensive flaws until he finally floored Douglas in the seventh round.

After that absolute JOKE of a performance on the first fight, this one was a good redemption fight for the card.

I think Cletus should go pack to picking tomatoes at the farm, smelly, stinky ****house of a fighter.

It's sad to say that Douglas is not the same fighter anymore. The brutal fight against Khurtsidze took everything out of him. He just doesn't seem to have the same reflexes anymore as when he was an undefeated prospect.

Douglas needs to go to the hospital ASAP. That didn't look good at all.

He will be having nightmares of Spike like Rocky with Drago.

Douglas is a perfect example of bringing up a fighter to fast and letting a young fighter take to much punishment in a fight.

Cong**** to O'Sullivan. He has capitalized on the oppurtunities that he has been given.

O'Sullivan vs Rosado would be good. As for Douglas I know it's early but he need to either retire or get a new corner. Either way it's going to be tough road for him going forward.

Douglas needs to recover his career slowly rather than been fast to meet the lions.

Douglas looked the sort of bad that made me afraid for his life olet alone his boxing career. It's sad since he seemed to be on the fast track before the White Tyson fight but he needs to hang them up.
