UFC champion Conor McGregor is putting a potential boxing match with Manny Pacquiao on the backburner, saying he wants his next fight to be in his primary sport of mixed martial arts. Asked by TMZ whether he'll box again after being stopped by Floyd Mayweather in August, McGregor responded: "We'll see what happens. ... I think a true fight is what I want to do next."

He should just pull a Tyson Fury and leave fighting altogether and be fat and merry.

Poor pacquiao will always be remembered as second fiddle to Floyd. Always 2 steps late behind Floyd.

McGreg Doesn't want a Boxing Beating again

Money May already said he carried Mc for those rounds, and most believe him. So Pac would come in wanting to show he could do away with Mc in a shorter time than Mayweather, which would mean whipping the skin off of Mc, so Mc is smart in saying hell no. But he should see what kind of money may be out there instead of fighting 50 MMA fights that one match could equate to

He would never have beaten Floyd in their primes. I know normally you dont say one fighter can beat another fighter based on what another fighter did, but the way Mayweather beat Marquez, he would have done Pac the same way....

Ahh pac is desperate. Conor could probably make him come to the cage and pummel him.

McGregor should take the Pacquiao fight. That's another big pay check. He can't make that kind of money with any mma opponent. Also McGregor better cherry pick his next mma opponent to get back into the flow. If he takes a loss it could potentially hurt his pay for another crossover boxing match.
