Comments Thread For: Lemieux: I'm a Whole Different Guy Than I Was Against Golovkin

Billy Joe Saunders made sure to mention David Lemieux's loss to Gennady Golovkin during a conference call Monday. Lemieux's last middleweight title fight resulted in Golovkin stopping the hard-hitting former IBF champion in the eighth round two years ago at Madison Square Garden. The contender from Montreal is 4-0 since losing to Kazakhstan's Golovkin, though, and Lemieux (38-3, 33 KOs) assured Saunders that he is not the same fighter he was when Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) dropped him in the fifth round and beat him by technical knockout in October 2015.

BJS the bad ass trash talker and then he gets caught and BOOM!!! Down he goes! Good riddance. Next get rid of Fury and Wilder and maybe a bit of dignity can return to the sport...

I think BJS survives some very difficult moments to win a unanimous decision...though I'd much prefer that he get knocked out.

I think Saunders win this fight easier than people think! David has problems with boxers who can move & throw a nice jab! I see Saunders frustrating David which will lead to David leaving himself open to counters from Saunders.
