Comments Thread For: Lee Selby Inks Three-Fight Deal With Frank Warren

Frank Warren has revealed that he has signed Lee Selby to a promotional deal. The IBF featherweight champion retained his world title with a points win last weekend, exclusively live on BoxNation and BT Sport. Selby outpointed Mexico's Eduardo Ramirez unanimously at the Copper Box Arena in London on Saturday, as part of Warren's The Boys Are Back In Town' card which saw James DeGale lose his IBF super-middleweight title to Caleb Truax.

Sure. He's a good boxer. Can he even clean up the domestic scene though with Warrington and Quigg up his arsè?

I don't think he'll fair well with any of the top dogs like Leo Santa Cruz, Frampton, Garry Russell Jnr, Mares even Donaire who isn't as good as he used to be. I'm pretty sure Donaire would wreck him.

Right now he's all style no substance. I'll give him props if he cleans up the domestic scene first.

Good move for Selby though for the bigger domestic clashes.

          Quigg should jump ship too.

Surely helps speed along Warrington/Frampton fights.
