Comments Thread For: Haymon Boxing: DeGale Does Have Rematch Clause For Truax

If James DeGale decides to continue fighting, he does have a rematch clause to get an immediate second fight with Caleb Truax. Last Saturday night at the Copper Box in London, DeGale's career took a turn for the worse when he suffered a stunning twelve round decision loss to Truax, who was a huge underdog in the fight. Some of the UK oddsmakers had him listed as a 100-1 underdog.

Promoters shouldn’t be getting involved with fighters that is not signed to them business. That’s tampering

Eddie Hearn needs to shut his mouth up sometimes and mind his own business, like getting AJ a real real opponent

Hearn is quickly becoming the biggest f.aggot in the sport

Talks reckless about sh.it he's not involved in, negotiating through the media , ripping off fans

Hope he loses some of his arrogance Once the AJ train derails

Degeale made more $ and was involved in bigger /better fights once he left Hearn

There has never been any love lost between Hearn and Degale.

So Degale lied? The interviewer lied at the end of the fight when speaking to James? Am sure Al would get him the rematch as a goodwill gesture but it looked like James didn’t have a rematch clause for this fight. He was doing interviews over here saying every time Traux step up he ended up losing, so I think he was so confident of winning that fight after his surgery that he didn’t do his homework properly on traux.
