Comments Thread For: Tevin Farmer: I Worked Too Hard To Get Robbed, I Deserved Win

At the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, junior lightweight contender Kenichi Ogawa won a hard-fought and controversial 12 round split decision over Tevin Farmer. With the win, Ogawa won the vacant IBF junior lightweight title. The southpaw Farmer (25-5-1, 5 KOs) built an early lead, outboxing the taller Ogawa. As the bout progressed and sensing he was down on the scorecards, Ogawa pressed the action, scoring more repeatedly than in the early rounds.

he may have got jobbed out of the decision but I've watched this a second time he squandered rounds with his fooling around with his hands down and his shifting every so often to Southpaw... and his too defensive Style he won't win the title in this manner let the decision stand

Inoue is promoted by Ohashi, not Teiken. Shinsuke Yamanaka is probably who the writer is thinking about.

Whether he got robbed or not, it still goes down as a loss and he can keep Gervonta Davis' name out of his mouth now.

I don't care that Farmer got robbed, Geronta Davis should face Tevin Farmer next! Baltimore vs. Philly in D.C.? You can't **** that up! Showtime, Let's Go! HBO has to be the voice that brings change in regards to these ****ed up judges! 2017 has not been good! I see movements happening (Adelaide Byrd), and I applaud the efforts! Keep it moving!

Team Farmer really thought they had it in the bag. They stroke this guy so much they start believing he should be given the nod just for showing up. Bottom line is he didn’t do enough to convincingly sway the judges. Next time maybe he’ll stop the show boating and box effectively.
