  • Comments Thread For: Salido: Arum Never Came Close To What I Want For Lomachenko

Mandalay Bay, LAS VEGAS, NV - On March 1st, 2014 Orlando Salido handed rising superstar Vasyl Lomachenko his only career loss. The fight was very controversial. Salido didn't make weight, losing his featherweight title on the scales and also landed several low blows throughout the contest that weren't penalized. The fight was only the second professional fight in Lomachenko's career. There has been a lot of talk of a rematch but so far both camps haven't been able to reach an agreement.

salido quoted in this article like he's willing to lose to lomachenko for the right money... or just a ploy to appear that way and the put up another war against lomachenko..won't be surprised if he retires on his stool or pull a 'Nicholas Walters'..seems like all he wants is that payday.. just saying

" Salido didn't make weight" ... "landed several low blows throughout the contest that weren't penalized"

"The fight was only the second professional fight in Lomachenko's career"

" Arum knows how much I need but he has never came close to what I want with his offer,"

What do you NEED and what was the OFFER? Please tell so we know who is off his rockers, you or Arum.

If I was Loma I would say goodbye on camera to Salido. He wouldn't get a penny for his greedy scared @ss.

Pointless rematch. Fight Miguel Berchelt and see if Zanfer offers more than Top Rank.

I have always wanted to see the rematch to see how this version of Loma would fair against Salido. I am sure that if Salido started to low blow that Loma would hit him right back.

So you would continue to drive a cab? If he was getting offers right left and centre then i don't mind, but when you barely have any major income from boxing and drives a UBER to make ends meet then i don't think you should be the one holding out just because you have a WIN over loma.
