The ratings reflect how much more competitive the Miguel Cotto-Sadam Ali fight turned out to be than the boxing public's perception prior to it taking place. Ali's upset of Cotto in the Puerto Rican legend's farewell fight Saturday night drew a peak audience of 1,012,000 viewers and averaged 944,000, according to ratings released Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research. Only one bout broadcast by either HBO or Showtime drew a higher peak audience than Cotto-Ali in 2017.

HBO Boxing Ratings really taken a hit since Steve Nelson took over and sinking HBO Boxing with his ****** match ups and vision for Boxing.

His biggest crime was giving Eddie 'I love Teenage Boys' Hearn a bunch of dates for S H I T fights that no one is interested in.

The two biggest HBO Boxing Figures this year have hardly scrapped past 1 Million! I remember when Cotto fought Foreman in 2010, that got 1.9 Million viewers.

HBO need to SACK STEVE NELSON immediatly and get someone competent in place to run their HBO Boxing program that will focus on the best young American and Hispanic stars.
