Comments Thread For: joseph Parker's Trainer: We're Very Close To Anthony Joshua Deal

A deal is inching even closer for an Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker showdown, according to Parker's head trainer Kevin Barry. The two sides have now been negotiating for several weeks, for a showdown in the first quarter of 2018 - with dates in March and April being discussed. WBO champion Parker is going to come at a much cheaper price than WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

Wilder's lack of education is a roadblock. Not saying he is dumb, but he doesn't have the patience for posturing, and negotiation. All roads lead to AJ at the moment, don't accept pennies, get more than Parker, but 50/50 is not feasible - at the moment

But the 50/50 is the posturing and negotiation you're claiming he doesn't have. Can't have it both ways.

Wilder thinks Stivernes 254 pound body got him the right to get 50% .

Why? Well according to him Joshua who also weighed 254 for Takam is no different than Stiverne bc ..........weight is weight ! Yep .

Lets just hope Finkle and Haymon dont let a guy like this sit at the negotiating table.

Even IF that happens in 2018 bc at the end of the day Wilder could just flat out tell his guys no .

I like Parker, he is a good guy and a warrior and it's hard to hate him, I like an underdog - having said that, he is nothing special sadly. He is quite overrated, even the paper title he got out of the Andy Ruiz fight was nothing special. Let's be real, Andy Ruiz ain't no Klitschko, Joshua, Tyson Fury to say the least.

Well at least Parker isn't afraid to fight Joshua like BUMSQUAD wilder is. Even though they'll both lose.

The accepted heavyweight champion is Anthony Joshua. Sorry to tell you. And Joshua beats Wilder and Parker all day every day.
