Comments Thread For: Arum: We'll Try To Make Lomachenko vs. Salido II - if Both Win

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is not ready to throw in the towel on a potential rematch between Vasyl Lomachenko (9-1, 7 KOs) and Orlando 'Siri' Salido (44-13-4, 31 KOs). The two boxers met in the ring back in March of 2014 - in what was Lomachenko's second pro fight. After twelve rounds of action, Salido walked away with a twelve round split decision win and Lomachenko suffered his first and only career defeat.

Loma should be trying for Berchelt some time soon. That's the fight to make at 130.

I think Lomachenko will win the second time around.

I do wanna see this fight. This is one of the only times Arum sounds honest to me. Make it, Bobfather!

It won't be as important as if it had happened earlier, but Loma still should jump on this to try to redeem his only pro loss. If Loma or Salido loses any of his fights till then, the rematch will be useless. Salido is already kinda soft and worn out now. Don't know if it makes sense.

        Salido is past retirement.

Me too, that's the fight I want to see most. Then the winner fights Tank Davis.

If Siri fights Loma, I hope it's a big pay day. He deserves it as he closes out his career.

Berchelt should fight Solido instead. Blast out the only guy who beat Lomachenko, then fight Lomachenko. It would build the fight.

Arum is a dam fool, salido has 13 losses and nothing to lose and no record to protect
Give salido a more even slice and will have a fight
