Punch Stats: Miguel Cotto vs. Sadam Ali

You can call this a knockdown, the punch had an affect on Sadam's fall, with that said : its interesting how that would of changed the scores, If Lederman and Weisfeld had to count the knockdown but still gave the round to Ali resulting in a even round ( 9-9 ) Miguel would of still came up short by a point ( 113 -114 ) ; BUT if they seen round 2 for Cotto with the knockdown they would of had a score of 114-113 for Miguel Cotto -- a Ward-Kovalev type score ; I thought Ali won without scoring it.

I had Miguel losing 8-4 on my scorecard. A clear win for Ali, hopefully he gains confidence in himself he has some serious skills and evidently he's got some pop when he sits down on his shots.

No ref in their right mind would call that a KD.
