The 37 yr. old Cotto landed 251 power punches in his decision win over Kamegai in August, tying a career best that he established 14 1/2 years earlier in a tko win over former champ Cesar Bazan. Cotto also threw a career high 839 punches vs. Kamegai, nearly 100 more than he let fly vs. Lovemore Ndou 13 years earlier. Cotto's 339 landed punches vs. Kamegai ranks #2 all time for Miguel.
