    WBO junior featherweight world champion AMANDA SERRANO (34-1-1, 26 KOs), of Brooklyn, New York, has been nominated by UNIVISION for its prestigious "Female Athlete of the Year" award, it was announced this week. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from Miami, Florida, and will be telecast live on Univision at 8:00 p.m. ET.

      It sounds like it's a dibella event that he's backing but if I had to vote a go with Lupita Gonzalez she really had to overcome odds to do what she did to win.

      she didn't have the big bucks back in her and she is with someone that her people in Mexico would be proud to call a role model

                  Way to go Amanda!....Excellent fighter, more and more big things should be happening for her....I dont want to see a MMA crossover - please dont go that route
