Which is what's fucked up about it.

As, should he lose, he'd likely want to move back down to defend his title. Now he can't. Instead, he has to get back in line, presumably.

It's essentially robbing him, because a world title reign is a very valuable thing.
Especially for a guy like Rigo who usually has a hard time attracting quality opponent/other champions.

WBA is the WORST of all the belts. They have 2 Champions per division. And just named one of the SHTYIEST HW boxers Manuel Char Champion.lol

More recently the IBF didn't do this to Kell Brook who faked the negotiations of a unification clash with Vargas only to go up for GGG whilst avoiding a mandatory. Still kept his belt.

The same IBF that stripped Fury right after he won the belt for not being able to face his mandatory within a ridiculous short time frame.

These organisations are clearly biased depending on who the promoters are and what kind of financial clout they have.

The WBA's decision here makes no sense because if they're giving him 5 days in the event that he wins, he should also be given 5 days in the event that he loses.
I looked it up. They can take your belt if you lose in a non-title bout or non-sanctioned.

And if he wins again it states they have 5 days decide.

They have some ass backwards rules???

In order words, as far as the WBA is concerned , damn if Rigo wins and damn if he loses.

I guess they can do whatever they want since it appears they are not answerable to no one!!!
No wonder this "sport" is so corrupt.

He should be stripped already. If he's moving up 2 weight classes for a fight then he's obviously way too big for the division and basically cheating by fighting small soft touches. Moving up to get KOd by Chenko is basically selling his title, his record and missing the weight by 10-15 pounds. Strip his ass.

Rigo should throw the WBA in the bin with a Bowe pic

Hopefully win, lose, or draw in the Lom fight he makes a good impression and gets more fights in the same or a lower division if he prefers. Glad he is getting a big payday for the sacrifices he has made to the sport going back to early AM days.

                      Da*** you talking about?

He's moving up 8 pounds, because that's the weight where Lomachenko is.

He's obviously not big for the weight. He's 5'4, and has been a 122 pounder his whole pro career, and often comes in under weight.
