Really Parker should keep talking, since Parker before these negotiations was an anonymous dude with a belt. Him talking is him doing his part selling the fight, so at least he is trying to get his name and the fight out there to the boxing public.

This is true, though usually fighters try to sell a fight after it's been agreed. At the moment Parker is just trying to sell himself a bigger cut.

That is true, but when is a better time for him to start than before the pay is getting divided up. It certainly isn't hurting him or the fight to start this early on.


He could mess the deal up I suppose if he pisses off Joshua, but still Joshua doesn't have that many option and he needs to fight Parker or Wilder will be even worse on him than Parker is. They can't be having months of that (well they can but if their goal is to get big in America that will kind of put them in a hole rather than getting a good jumping off point for a Wilder fight).

Most fights start out of the ring anyway, playing the mental game can either work in parkers favour or against him.

The fighters who step into the ring with Aj believing will lose always look like crap.

But fighters that step in believing they will win always fare a lot better, the taunting will help hopefully make Aj angry enough to go full blast early so hopefully will tire earlier lol.

Although seems to be working on his stamina of late.

I think Parker is a better fighter than Wilder and will do much better but ultimately the big fight in the division will be Joshua-Fury but that probably won't be for a few years.
