Comments Thread For: Joshua's Promoter: I Can't See a Wilder Deal, Parker More Likely

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), says WBC champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) is very unlikely to be their next opponent. WBO champion Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) appears be ahead of the pack, at the moment. There are ongoing negotiations between Hearn and Parker's promoter, David Higgins of Duco Events, to get a deal done for the first quarter of next year.

Duco and Parker actually want the fight, and are trying to get it made.

Wilder just wants to sit on his ass, demand 50/50 and let his black panther fans talk **** for him with no intention of fighting.

Parker vs Joshua will be a real 50/50 but i'm backing parker to get it done.

Wilder isnt trying to make the fight.

Hes asked for 50/50 which he KNOWS is not going to happen and been quite happy to leave it at that while he gets brezeale lined up.

At least Duco events are ACTUALLY wanting to make the fight.

The Wilder fight isn't going to happen straight after Parker, if he fights Parker next then i see him fighting a mandatory then Wilder (If he lower his demands).

who gives a flaming ****. wilder and joshua need to fight each other. joshua is only more famous when is comes yo crowds. but when it comes to raw PPV's he fails behind wilder. so why not 50 50? wilder is willing to meet hm in the u.k. go by his rules. these are 2 top heavies.

Not really any revelation, Hearn said from the jump if the fight with Wilder was gonna happen in 2018 it would be in the summer. I don't know why he would try to give the impression that it was a fight they were trying to pursue as AJ's next fight, we all knew he was going after Parker
