He only fights once a year, so probably will unify by 2020

Talk is cheap, Errol. Your hype is wearing off. Challenge yourself, instead of sitting around waiting for Thurman, or for something else to happen. You are a huge welter, move up and fight at 154.

Which is exactly why he should move up and find challenges a division up!

I'm just glad he ended the hypejob that is Kell Brook whose only notable victory came against a wind-milling midget with zero technique and a third fist aka his forehead. Even that was a close decision. I do not appreciate boxers who fight extremely mediocre fighters over 12 years as a professional and claim to be number one with no notable victory.

The icing on the cake was when he labelled his first real test at welterweight as "Jeff Lacey" and came unstuck. Was forced to submit. He QUIT. Rematch clause in place...yet didn't activate it.

Now the bum beating legend is calling for a 147lb tournament with no belt and no relevance. Why not call for one when you claimed you were being ducked and when you were a champion?? We all know who did the ducking. Flip flopping throwing weight classes around to the casuals and now we're hearing about 154lb...again. Lol. Funny guy.

Anyway Spence should just stay busy with fringe level contenders until Thurman wants to dance. That could take some time since Thurman is rather flaky these days. Should be a good fight when it happens.
