Comments Thread For: Ishe Smith: I Fought My Ass Off, The Judges Saw What They Saw

Former world champion Ishe Smith (29-9, 12 KOs) of Las Vegas showed grit and heart in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions on Bounce live from The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as he faced hard-hitting contender Julian Williams (24-1-1, 15 KOs) in a thrilling 10-round super welterweight bout. But the young Philadelphian was too much for the 39-year-old Smith as he landed more clean shots despite Smith throwing combination after combination throughout the fight.

      atrocious scores

What fight was were the judges watching? It was close. A 95-95 draw or a 96-94 score for either fighter would've been fair. The lopsided scores just tells you the result was predetermined before the opening bell.

2-3 point win for Williams would've been more believable, but no way Smith won. He simply has a weird boxing style that often times judges just don't see as winning rounds. That's on him, but he'll never change at this the tail end of his career in the ring.

It will be interesting to see Williams' next fight. Fans seemed to be writing him off after the Charlo loss, but he's bounced back well. Now if he can keep the momentum going.

i guess its just easier for the judges to fill out their scorecards before the fight starts.

funny that three judges saw a fight so different from what everybody else saw. hmn.

the crowd sure as heck didnt like the bogus scoring.

Williams was all hype, that Charlo KO doesnt seem all that impresive considering this guy struggled with Smith.

Didn't get to see this fight.
It just makes me wonder the level of competition Charlo had with Williams, who was supposed to be his best win.
Williams struggling with his last 2 fights is not looking good for Charlo,
who is now massively hyped to beat lil G.
All because of his Williams win.

Awful decision. Judges must have filled out their scorecards the night before.
